Community Clean Up Fundraiser!

These teens worked so hard on cleaning up the parks! Despite cooler weather, they worked for 3 hours straight and picked up well over 15 bags of trash! This included getting lots of trash out of the ponds, ball fields, play areas, pavilions, and walking trails. They had a great time, too.

The only thing that was a challenge was getting donations, possibly due to not many folks being out there because of the cold wind. They had such a good attitude about it; I heard no complaints, but I know they hoped they’d raised more than the $18/person they raised. If you wanted to donate to their trip to Student Leadership University and haven’t yet, there is still time! Any donation is VERY appreciated.

These teens are all amazing humans, and they are excited to give up two weeks of their summer to learn how to humbly lead others by serving them. They are truly a worthy investment in the future of our society! Sincerely,
